Dr. Shahriar Mali was born in 1350 in Yazd. His father was an expert in elementary education and his mother was an expert in humanities and was both cultural. After completing his primary and secondary education in Khosravi, Markar and Ki Khosravi schools, he was accepted into the medical field of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences with a rank of 383 in the entrance exam in 1368.
In this university, which was still managed in the style of the Americans, and under the supervision of professors such as Dr. Malek Hosseini (the father of liver transplantation in Iran), Dr. Salahi (a war surgeon and master of kidney transplantation), Professor Arabi (a neurosurgeon in Iran) and America), Dr. Malekzadeh (specialist in gastroenterology and former minister), Dr. Lankarani (professor of internal affairs and former minister), Dr. Sadeghi Hassanabadi (professor of social medicine and advisor to the minister), Dr. Atefi (professor of surgeon) and other famous professors of the country. He studied for seven years. He returned to Yazd province in 1375 after graduating and served the Yazdi villagers for almost two years in Pashtkouh area of Yazd.
In 1378, he was admitted to the general surgery field of study of Iran University of Medical Sciences and studied surgery for four years as a resident under the supervision of professors such as Dr. Ravari, Dr. Meshak Gou, Dr. Nazerani, Dr. Alireza Kalanter Motamed, Dr. Mushtaqi, etc.
In 1382, he won the second place in the country in the specialized board exams and received a certificate of appreciation from Dr. Pezeshkian, the the Minister of Health and Medicine.
He was invited to work from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (with the approval of Dr. Fazel, professor of surgery and former minister and surgeon of Imam Khomeini (RA). But because he did not like living in the capital, he went to Khuzestan to serve the deprived people of that country.
After two years of service as a surgeon and professor at Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences, Ahvaz, he participated in the superspeciality examinations of heart surgery and after obtaining the first grade, he resumed his studies at Shahid Rajaei Hospital in Tehran
Her desire to serve the warm-hearted people of Khuzestan caused her to return to Ahvaz after receiving her board degree in cardiovascular surgery and resume teaching and treating patients.
She has set up the cardiac surgery room at Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz (University Hospital) and equipped and performed the first surgery at Aria Hospital in Ahvaz.

Despite the unfavorable climatic conditions, he was the most active surgeon at Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz for five years. He owes his success in work and education to the companionship and sympathy of his wife who, despite all the adversities, did not leave him alone for a moment and was always behind him, both during his studies and during his work in the hospitals of Ahvaz .

At the end of 2012, at the same time as Dr. Forozan Nia, a surgeon named Yazdi, emigrated to Tehran, he was invited to return to Yazd in his place and serve his fellow citizens. At first, he was doubtful about this, but the encouragement of people like Dr. Farozan Nia and elders like the late Professor, Dr. Mojibian, Dr. Aflatounian, and Dr. Behnaz, as well as the follow-ups of the Board of Directors of Yazd University of Medical Sciences, convinced him to migrate to Yazd.
In Yazd, at the beginning, he recorded the first successful surgeries on the aortic root in his record, and since 2013, he has been serving his fellow citizens as well as patients who come to him from neighboring provinces for treatment.
The field of acquiring knowledge is always an endless world for him, so he tries to keep his information up-to-date by participating in domestic and foreign congresses. Participating in the minimally invasive heart surgery training course in the Netherlands has been in the same direction.
Publishing articles in prestigious foreign magazines as well as writing the book “Re-heart surgeries in adults” are among his works.
In the past year, Dr. Shahryar Mali has participated in internal and external training courses and done practical work in the presence of professors in Tehran. He learned the new treatment of varicose veins in a specialized way and put it alongside his other activities.

In recent years, a new science called phlebology has emerged to identify venous diseases, especially the most common one, varicose veins, which has completely changed the treatment methods of this disease. . It should be noted that treatments such as varicose vein surgery or other methods that were previously used to treat it had many side effects and poor results. On the other hand, Yazd province, which is the treatment hub of central and southern Iran, lacked specialists and a center for modern varicose veins treatments. Therefore, Dr. Shahriar Mali, after completing additional courses inside and outside the country, has tried to turn this center into a specialized center in order to provide the best possible service.

With the motto of diagnosing and treating the causes of cardiovascular diseases, this center is equipped with the most advanced equipment in the world and includes sections such as risk assessment; Determining the age of vessels; Fixing or controlling underlying diseases such as blood pressure etc.

5- Diagnosis and treatment of restless leg disease

Restless leg syndrome is one of the common problems of society, which can cause complications such as sleep disturbance and in some cases, disturbance in a person’s daily life.
